O.CT A4 Front Mount Intercooler, 2002-2003 1.8T

Replaces the one tiny intercooler on your A4 with one massive unit. This is a bolt-on installation. This unit has been developed and tested by O.CT in Austria with the intent of supplying the most efficient aftermarket FMIC on the market for the new style A4 1.8T.

Techical details: When tested on a Stage 4 A4 1.8T (K04 turbo upgrade) this FMIC showed a small loss of 100mbar after the FMIC versus the stock unit which showed a loss of 250mbar after the IC. In addition, the O.CT unit was able to cool the charged air 100 degrees Celsius (before and after the FMIC) versus the stock unit that was only able to cool the charged air 60 degrees Celsius. That's a 40 degree difference. You can expect results on your chipped Stage 1 or Stage 2 A4 to be similar in proportion.
