How to tell which Stratmosphere Short Shifter you need for your 2001/2002 S4?Step 1: Remove shift knob, twisting the knob counter-clockwise.
Step 2: Carefully remove center console by lifting the rear of the cover upwards and sliding it out.
Step 3: Using a ruler, measure from the black rubber cover to the top of the shifter.
If your measurements show approximately 3.6", you require the older, S4 shifter if your measurements show approximately 4.5", you require the newer, canted S4 shifter model. |
