Jetta V 2.0T and Golf V GTi 2.0T Exhaust

This system was developed by Milltek during 2005 using two different Milltek Sport Golf V GTi's. This system is a large 2.75" diameter system. OEM is 2.5" and this system opens up the performance without drawbacks of an overly open 3.0" system. 2.75" lets you have optimal muffler design. 3" systems require restrictive mufflers to compensate for overly large pipe diameter. 2.5" systems are simply too small, as they are same as the OEM size and therefore require muffler design compromises which can result in resonant and cheap sound quality. Quad system fits the ABT, Charactere and Rieger valance/bumper.

Milltek offers the ONLY 200-cell metal cat in the world. In addition the cat is a tri-wound element versus a cheap single-wound substrate that may be pinned and could destruct over time. Also beware of larger cell counts with power-robbing high density cats. We are currently recommending the non-resonated system as the only choice since the resonated version is quite mellow.

R32 Exhaust,  MkV and MkIV

GTI 337/20th Anniv., Golf IV and Jetta IV 1.8T, VR6, NEW GLI 1.8T

Here is the Milltek line of catback exhausts with the Golf IV and now Jetta IV. All systems have 2 1/2" mandrel-bent piping.

This system will deliver a dyno-tested 12% horsepower increase to your 1.8T car. The 150hp car was measured at 168hp by Milltek in the UK on the Rolling Road dyno system.

Which system do I need for my Golf/Jetta car?

All of these Milltek systems have tips that come through the rear valance areas. On cars that are produced prior to the 2002.5 model you will need to get a valance (available from a local dealer for under $50). Cars produced 2002.5 and newer come STANDARD with the rear valance you need. For the 337/20th Anniv./GLI 1.8T all you need is the exhaust system itself.
